Saniclau Trails Description
Saniclau Trails is a hiking network suitable for trekking and trail running on São Nicolau Island, Cabo Verde archipelago, in the African West Coast. There are about 200 km of marked trails with distinctive signs, organized into four types of routes: main, connection, complementary and virtual. The first three types allow you to choose an interconnection and get to know different points of interest on the island, such as the Monte Gordo Natural Park, the island’s highest point – 1,312m elevation.
Though the trails can be easily followed on your own without a guide or a tour, we strongly recommend that you hire this service if you are a beginner or you are interested in a culturally enriched experience.
